Al- Jamia is one among the largest Islamic institution aimed in the empowerment on social, cultural and Islamic, academic and personal growth of the society. Al-Jamia institution is located at Pathanamthitta district in the state of Kerala, India. Started On (1405 AH)October 23, 1984.
The concept to form such an institution was to guide the society and the community in the right path to serve the nation and to succeed in the in this world as well as here after. The foundation stone was laid by eminent Islamic scholar Da’iye Millath Marhoom Moosa Moulana (R).
As a result of the hard efforts of a small group of Islamic scholars and the well wishers, the first batch to memorize the Qur’an was founded by Maulana at Kanjar in the same time.
The Popular “Darsa Nizami” Syllabus was established at that time.
At present, Al-Jamia is having curriculum and teachings on, tasavvuf, islamic dauwah, Sab’a Qira-ath, Ifta Course and other related courses.
